Haven’t had much time to update but we made it to Brooklyn! A few days of some crazy blasting (ow my butt) and only one breakdown. I thought we were gonna do mostly 100-200 mile days but we condensed them all into about three 300-400 mile days and a few other shorter days. Oh well, that left us more time to hang out in different towns and cities, meet cool people, do awesome stuff. So I don’t forget, the trip went as follows. New Orleans for two nights, then to Pensacola, FL where we stayed in Big Lagoon State Park and got eaten alive by mosquitoes, then to Auburn, AL for a night in Chewacla St. Park, the most terrifying forest ever. The ground was covered in spiders, ants, scorpions and god knows what else. After that we rode to Athens, GA, stayed there for two nights then up through Tennessee along the Appellations, stayed in Asheville, NC for a night, then to Richmond, VA for two nights. I loved that place. After Richmond we rode for forever to get to Elliot’s parents in Latrobe, PA. Luckily we arrived just in the knick of time because I think my butt was about to fall off and my knees snap in half. We stayed there for an eternity. Five days (or was is six?) in the middle of no where, it was like being in the Twilight Zone. But we did see some pretty cool stuff and PA is beautiful and has the best skies. Oh and Elliot’s parents are super adorable and his mom is the probably the sweetest person alive. OK that’s it. A billion pictures to follow.
